The Association of South Central Oklahoma Governments (ASCOG) has applications available for the Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program. Seniors, 60 years of age and older, can request an application through the Information and Assistance specialist, Bethany Sullivan. The applications are limited and will be mailed out on a first-come, first served basis. November is Family Caregiver Month
President Obama has declared November “National Family Caregivers Month, 2015.” ASCOG Area Agency on Aging has partnered with MaddieLuke Support Services to provide caregiver services to those caring for loved ones in the ASCOG planning and services area. Our services included intake screening and access to services, respite services and support groups. Older Americans Act services are available for adults of any age who are caring for seniors aged 60 and older, or for seniors aged 55 and older who are caring for relative children.
